Not really sure how long I've been here or how I got here but I've been here for long time. Started out probably like most of you lurking in the back. Looking at all of these beautiful women thinking I could never do that, or thinking I don't look good enough to do that. Believe me I thought that and every other excuse of why I shouldn't book. But after being in the group listening to Ash tell all of us about getting out of our comfort zones. I finally took what she said and ran with it.

 

Ash did a 10 day challenge and I thought this is it! This is my time to shine, to start crushing those comfort zones. So I took on the 10 day challenge, each day the challenges got harder. Helping to push me out of my comfort zones more and more. And in the end I won a photoshoot with the session fee completely waived!

 

That's some insane savings yall and even at this point I was trying to tell myself every reason I shouldn't. Cause I have some super bad anxiety....like super bad. But this amazing guy I had been seeing for a little while wasn't gonna let me back down. He knew how much I had been wanting to do this, I had been talking about it since we got together. So I was like how about we do a couples shoot, thinking for sure he would shoot me down. But this man without missing a beat said Yes! I'm sure you can all imagine how friggin excited I was.

 

Leading up to my shoot my nerves stayed with me the whole time. But Ash was so amazing through the whole process. She took the time answer all my questions, and let me tell yall I ask alot of questions. She helped guide me to stores that were a good fit for my body type. She let me send her pictures to get her opinion on things. When I booked my shoot I created a check list of everything I needed and she help me through all of that. All while she was constantly helping to crush my nerves and remind me what an amazing time we would have.

 

That I would be sure to fall absolutely in love with my results.

The week of the shoot my nerves had sky rocketed. Still thinking to myself maybe I should back out. But everything in me really knew I was going to have a blast. The morning of the shoot my anxiety was on another level. On our way to the studio I was shaking from all the nerves. But my boyfriend just kept telling me how much fun we were gonna have and how beautiful all of our pictures would be.

 

When we arrived at the studio we started talking to Ash showing her everything we had brought with us. Instantly everything just started to feel really comfortable. By the time my hair and makeup was done all my nerves were completely gone. Ash just has this way of relaxing you, melting your nerves away, making you laugh and smile uncontrollably. I've never been comfortable getting naked in front of anyone but I knew where I was, I was safe. I knew I wouldn't be judged, which is why I had no problem getting completely nude in front of Ash.

 

The whole shoot from start to finish was a blast. Matt and I were laughing and smiling the whole time. I felt like a d*mn goddess through it all. Getting to see yourself when she flips the camera around to show ya what she is getting just pumps you up! and getting to see Matt's reactions through the whole shoot was great.

 

Oh the facial expressions I would see from him as Ash is getting me all posed up. Seriously we had the time of our life. Then when we came back and seen the results my jaw dropped. I'm looking over at Matt like hoy sh*t babe that's us. My face physically hurt from smiling so much looking at our pictures. Let me tell you what though, it is super hard trying pick out which ones you want. Cause let's be honest in the end you want them all.

 

After you complete that first photoshoot it really does change something in you. I see myself so differently now, I love myself differently now. My confidence is through the friggin roof! Even my boyfriend noticed a completely change in me. I can get completely naked and look at myself in the mirror and love the that women looking back at me now. I can't believe I spent so long not loving and truly appreciating myself. These photoshoots help teach you that you don't have to be a certain weight or look a certain way. They show you that you are perfect right now just as you are!

 

But that first shoot it lit a fire in me! I joined the After Glow Group she hosts for past clients only started doing more shoots. You get so many amazing perks when you become a past client. I became a Mod for the group, got the opportunity to be Hype Girl. With each and every shoot I get to do I continue to grow. My confidence grows, myself love grows, my body image grows. I have also got to meet some amazing women along the way. They are all so full of love and compassion.

 

All I gotta say is you've been thinking about doing a shoot, just do it! Seriously Ash is friggin amazing at what she does. I've never seen anyone even come close to her work.

 

Your always gonna have a million excuses of why you shouldn't. But those are just that excuses. Book your shoot and change your life too. Fall in love with yourself right now just as you are. Have beautiful pictures you can look back on and instantly be filled with joy.
