Welcome to Your Sitter Session!

Thank you for choosing Ash & Thistle in Napoleon Ohio for your sitter session. I am excited to capture this special milestone as your little one sits independently and shows off their personality. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, please read through this guide carefully.

Before Your Session

1. Wardrobe Fitting Session

• Date and Time: We have our wardrobe fitting appointments on Mondays and Tuesdays.
• Location: At our Home Studio in Napoleon Ohio
• What to Expect:
  • During the wardrobe appointment, you’ll have the opportunity to select from our curated collection of outfits, props, and backdrops.
  • We’ll discuss the style and color palette that best suits your vision for the photos.
  • You can also view our range of products and print options to get an idea of how your final images will be presented.

2. Preparing Your Baby

• Naptime: Schedule the session after your baby’s nap time to ensure they are well-rested and in a good mood.
• Feeding: Feed your baby right before the session so they are comfortable and content.
• Snacks and Toys: Bring a few of your baby’s favorite snacks and small toys to keep them happy and engaged.
• Outfit Choices: If you prefer to bring your own outfits, select clothes that are simple and free of logos or busy patterns. Neutrals and soft pastels photograph beautifully.

On the Day of the Session

1. Arrival

• Timing: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to settle in and get your baby comfortable in the studio environment.
• Location: Napoleon ohio
• What to Bring:
• • The outfits you selected during the fitting session.
  • Any special props or sentimental items you’d like to include.
  • Extra diapers and wipes.
  • Drinks/snacks cause little ones need a break too

2. During the Session

• Relax and Enjoy: We aim to create a calm and fun atmosphere. Feel free to interact with your baby and help them feel at ease.
• Posing and Play: We will gently guide your baby into different poses and capture candid moments as they explore and play.
• Parent Participation: If you’d like, we can include a few shots with parents.

After the Session

1. Gallery Viewing

• Immediate Viewing: Right after the session, you will have the chance to view the images in our studio.
• Selection Process: Choose the photos you want included in your print package from the comfort of our studio. We’ll help you select the best images to suit your preferences and needs.
• Product Consultation: We can assist you in selecting prints, albums, or other products to beautifully display your photos.

2. Digital Files Delivery

• Fast Turnaround: Your digital files will be ready within 12 hours of the session. We’ll send you a download link via email.
• Backup and Storage: We recommend backing up your files to ensure their safety. You can also order additional prints or products at any time.

Additional Information

Safety and Comfort

• We prioritize your baby’s safety and comfort throughout the session. All props and equipment are sanitized before and after each use.
• If at any time your baby becomes uncomfortable or needs a break, please know we will pause for as long as the baby needs.
